These are actual sections taken from the original photo. They were enhanced using sharpening and contrast filters to better illustrate the item in question. No other manipulation of the photos were done.

Why were the red tones removed from the enhanced photos? Being from Earth, we are used to seeing in this part of the visible light spectrum. It simply helps you focus on the object more clearly this way. However, there have been intriguing rumors that there may actually be blue sky on Mars.

Many of these are objects not shown on the photo layout by the great guys at Enterprise Mission. You can view all the rest from the composition on their website. You can also download the full image from the link at the top and do your own exploring.

Whether the items above are actually alien relics or just rocks, the fact remains that NASA and JPL are plowing the way for a new century of trailblazing discovery. Our hats go off to both organizations for not giving up.
